Controlled origin
Pycnogenol, an extract of the bark of the French maritime pine that grows only in the southern region of Les Landes de Gascogne, is an all-natural ingredient of controlled origin, from an area free of pesticides and herbicides. The fact that it is produced from the bark of the tree ensures that the extract has a uniform quality and is not subject to seasonal influences. The production process is patented, and the production facilities are GMP certified. No toxic solvents are used to produce the extract. Pycnogenol is a premium French-quality extract. It comes from the bark of a unique natural source dating back to the time of Napoleon III: the maritime pines of the Landes, located in one of the largest forested areas in Europe, the Gascony Forest.

The use of pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs is prohibited to protect the environment and ensure the absence of contaminants potentially harmful to health. Furthermore, the region’s climatic conditions limit seasonal variations, which contributes to the high quality of Pycnogenol.
